Kirie 'Key' Ventura
Event Coodinator
Kirie (pronunciation: kee-ree) (日本で「きりえ」) is a woman (she/hers) who creates product, user experience and graphic interface designs to sustain her living. She normally does not refer to herself in the third person.
I believe everything should always begin with an intention of love.
A career sandwich of design, ethnic studies, healthcare and design again
After playing the field in a breadth of career choices, I have returned to my artistic roots as a designer who has vowed to create aesthetically pleasing solutions, delightful experiences while battling designs that frustrate people.
Out of office
Outside of facing a computer screen for a living, I enjoy the company of my dogs and friends, creative activities, most things involving nature, movie buffing, books, recommending food/things to do for newcomers, reading, looking up facts and articles on Wikipedia, cooking, food/drink pairing, volunteering and mentorship where and when I can, participating in social equity movements, teaching others good recycling and composting practices, gardening and traveling the world to gain new perspectives on life and to pet exotic animals while appreciating the Earth’s natural beauty.
